Uganda’s flagship tourism showcase returns to Speke Resort Munyonyo on 21–24 May with the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Development.” Organisers expect more than 2,000 trade visitors, including international buyers, investors and airlines. New features include a green-investment pavilion for eco-lodges and a youth innovation hub where start-ups can pitch low-impact travel tech. Regional tourism boards from Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and the DRC have confirmed joint packages with Uganda Wildlife Authority that bundle multi-country safaris for one price. The expo will also unveil a domestic-tourism cashback scheme giving Ugandans 20 percent off national-park entry during off-peak months.
