The National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag bearer for Madi-Okollo Woman MP, Joanne Okia duly has been duly declared unopposed.
Joanne Aniku Okia was declared unopposed by Electoral Commission (EC) Returning Officer John Olinga after it was confirmed that her only rival, Gloria Aciro forged signatures of supporters to back her nomination.
Gloria Aciro was the flag bearer for Alliance for National Transformation (ANT).
This New development now brings the total number of NRM flagbearers who are unopposed to 16. Others who were recently declared unopposed include; Hillary Onek, Frank Tumwebaze, Anita Among etc.
