Justice Musoke Vetted as new Member of Judicial Service Commission

The Parliamentary Appointments Committee has vetted Justice Elizabeth Musoke as new member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

Justice Musoke on Monday appeared before the Committee that was chaired by the Speaker Annet Anita Among.
Musoke was recently appointed to the JSC by the apponting authority, President Yoweri Museveni.

“I have this afternoon chaired Parliament’s Committee on Appointments which vetted Justice Elizabeth Musoke, who was appointed a Member of the Judicial Service Commission by President Yoweri Museveni,” Among said.

“The Committee’s report will be transmitted to the Appointing Authority for further action.”

The Judicial Service Commission is a Constitutional body established under Article 146 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda, 1995, whose mandate is to recruit judicial officers and regulate their conduct.
